Have you ever been proud of someone?
For instance, you are proud of your boyfriend/girlfriend because she isn't the ugliest in your group.
lol ok that's a bad example.
I rarely feel proud for someone else, that's the selfish side of me.
I remembered when the bf told me he got accepted into Monash Uni early this year, I felt proud for just a split second. At the next second, I was thinking- omg what if I do not get accepted? It will be so embarrassing. shit I need to study really hard now.
I smiled and congratulated him. After that, worried expression overtook my smiley face.
Instantly, the bf knew what I was thinking.
(Urgh, he always know what am I thinking by my look and body language)
I felt so bad so I kept denying that I was thinking about my own self.
During the end of the day, I sat down and thought- that I shouldn't be so selfish. I should be happy for him for his accomplishment.
and from then on, I felt happier for him and I took his achievement to encourage me to study.
When my brother told me he got 66 for add maths exam, I felt proud.
You must be thinking : Cheh, 66 only what, what's to be proud of?
But from a mere 20+ to 66?!!
Even I have never gotten this kind of result. lol.
You want to know his secret?
Well, his ultimate secret is.......................me.
tahahaha. part of it la.
The story is like this, when he failed for his mid-term exam, my dad asked me to tutor him.
I said: " sure, but you have to pay me RM80 every month. "
I thought I can make him get an A, but I pushed this thought away after a few lessons with him.
I told my dad :" I can guarantee that he won't fail. "
Every Sunday morning, I gave him a one and a half hour tuition for about 4 months.
and Tadaa! 66!
Now I am waiting to see how will Zhen Ying's (bee's sis) result turn out to be.
Hopefully it will be better?
